Richland driver injured in Monday night car accident

A 36-year-old Richland man suffered moderate injuries Monday night in a single-vehicle accident on Missouri Highway 7 in Camden County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a 2002 Dodge Neon driven by Matthew T. Pettijohn traveled across the center of the road, then ran off the left side of the highway and hit a tree. Pettijohn was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
