Bipartisan legislation backed by Mizzou’s football coach will be signed into law Tuesday by Governor Mike Parson. It’s known as N-I-L, which stands for name, image, and likeness. Mizzou football coach Eli Drinkwitz was at the Capitol in Jefferson City in May and told Lebanon State Representative Jeff Knight there were two athletes in the state of Missouri whose final two picks are Mizzou and Alabama:

 

 

The bill prohibits Missouri public and private higher education institutions from preventing students from earning compensation for the student’s name, image, likeness rights, or athletic reputation. It also requires attorneys or agents representing an athlete to be licensed in Missouri.
