Registered voters in four precincts in Pulaski County will be going to the polls tomorrow
Registered voters in four precincts in Pulaski County will be going to the polls tomorrow to decide the fate of two local propositions and one ballot question and to cast some votes in the Hazelgreen Rural Fire Protection District. An important decision will be made by voters in the Richland School District whether to approve Proposition KIDS.
Richland Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Tina Turner, tells us what this ballot issue proposes.
Voters who live within the Richland School District should vote in the precinct where they live. Most of the votes will come from the Richland precinct, but others will come from a few residents in Laclede County and Camden County.
Meanwhile, voters in Waynesville will be casting ballots on Question One, which would impose a 3 percent sales tax on recreational marijuana sales, and St. Robert voters will decide the fate of Proposition A, which would impose a 3 percent sales tax, also on recreational marijuana sales. The Richland, Laquey, Waynesville, and St. Robert polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow. KFBD-FM The Source will air live reports of Pulaski County elections results after the polls close. And, by the way, today is the last day to cast an absentee ballot at the County Clerk’s office inside the Courthouse in Downtown Waynesville.
