It was a good night Saturday at the annual convention of the Missouri Broadcasters Association, held at Lake of the Ozarks. The Regional Radio Stations in Lebanon and Waynesville took home 2 first-place awards and 1 honorable mention.

KJEL-FM, 103.7 was given a first-place award for having the best Small Market Radio complete newscast in the state of Missouri. KJPW-AM 1390 in Waynesville was given a first-place award for having the best feature story on School Bullying in the Partners in Education category. KJEL-FM was also given an honorable mention for its series of stories on Human Trafficking in Missouri.

Additionally, Market Manager for the Lebanon and Waynesville stations, Mike Edwards, was elected again to the Board of Directors of the Missouri Broadcasters.
