Regimental Week activities continue on Fort Wood

Many big events are lined up this week for the annual Engineer Regimental Week celebration on Fort Leonard Wood. The Best Sapper Contest ended on Monday with the winning team to be announced Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock in Lincoln Hall Auditorium. An Army Engineer Association industry exhibition will be taking place Tuesday and Wednesday at Nutter Fieldhouse. This event showcases some of the latest engineering technology with more than 50 agencies signed up to participate. Hours for the exhibition will be from 8 a-m to 5 p-m today and tomorrow.
The event is open to anyone with access to Fort Leonard Wood. A Fallen Sapper Tribute will be held Thursday evening at 6 o’clock at Sapper Memorial Grove to memorialize the lives and service of fallen engineers lost in war and support operations. An Engineer Regimental Ball and Awards Ceremony will take place in Nutter Fieldhouse Friday evening at 7 o’clock.
