The Red Cross has once again begun analyzing donated blood and plasma for Covid-19 antibodies. Staci Burks is the Executive Director of the Red Cross in Southern Missouri. She said the increased demand from hospitals played a major factor.

Burks also said this is a great way to know whether or not someone had Covid in the past, as the antibody test is usually available within 2-3 weeks of donation. To find a blood drive near you, or to see more info on the giveaways for donors such as a chance to win a trip to the 2023 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, you can visit their website www.redcrossblood.org, or download the Red Cross app.
