Red Cross Month

This month is American Red Cross Month. The Red Cross Organization is an international movement and they have volunteers from around the world. The month is dedicated to the volunteers who come out and help with extreme weather events, global crisis, and even health emergencies. The Red Cross month dates all the way back to 1943. Stacy Burks with the Southern Missouri Red Cross says the organization doesn’t exist without its volunteers.

Burks says this is the 88th annual Red Cross month.
