The Red Cross is experiencing emergency blood and platelet shortages and must collect 10,000 additional blood products each week over the next month for the blood supply to recover and meet hospital and patient needs. Several area bloodmobile visits are planned next month in Pulaski and surrounding counties. The bloodmobile will be at the Fort Wood Army Community Hospital on October 8th from 10 a-m to 3:30 p-m…and at Lowes in St. Robert on October 15th from 11 a-m to 3 p-m. Camden County Red Cross bloodmobile visits will include today, September 28th, from 1 to 5 p-m at Mount Carmel Baptist Church at Lake Ozark, October 14th from 11 a-m to 4 p-m at Old Kinderhook in Camdenton, this Friday, October 1st, from 11 a-m to 3 p-m at Purcell Tire and Service Center in Osage Beach, and on October 8th from 11 a-m to 3 p-m at Lowe’s in Osage Beach.
