The Lebanon R-III Transportation Department was recognized during last week’s School Board meeting. According to Superintendent David Schmitz, the district must receive a 90% or higher approval rating on the annual MO State Highway Patrol school bus inspection to receive the Total Fleet Excellence Award.

 

The Lebanon Public Schools’ transportation department earned a 98.7% pass rate on the inspection this year. The statewide approval rate was 90.9%. Among those recognized are Dave Cates, Russell Shumate, Seth McBride, and Bill Thorsen, Melissa McClanahan, and David Case for helping prepare the buses.
