The Lebanon R-3 School Board has adjusted safety protocols. During a meeting on Wednesday, the Board voted 6 to 1 in favor of mask-wearing and potential quarantines when exposed to a person who has tested positive for COVID 19. Staff and students who either wear a mask, are vaccinated, or have tested positive for COVID in the past three months will be allowed to stay in school as well as school-related activities as long as they are not symptomatic. Assistant Superintendent Laura Oquinn said they want to keep students in class as much as possible….

The adjustments were made to encourage mask-wearing, honor and recognize the choice of families and staff, and protect learning by keeping students and staff in school.
Mitigation strategies will continue to be important including masking, social distancing, and sanitation efforts. As a reminder, masking is still a requirement for all staff and students on school buses.
