Pulaski County Rural Fire Protection District receives a call to rescue a man who had fallen off a cliff

Multiple agencies responded when the Waynesville Rural Fire Protection District received a call to rescue a man who had fallen off a cliff. The call came in on Monday morning,
but poor phone reception made it difficult to determine exactly where the man fell. More help was called in and the man was found near Devil’s Elbow, at the bottom of the rock he had been climbing. Rescue teams had to climb about 300 feet to get to the man. An air ambulance transported the man to a Columbia medical facility with serious injuries.
