Pulaski County kicks off the Tree of Lights campaign

(St. Robert)–The official kickoff ceremony for this year’s Pulaski County Salvation Army Tree of Lights campaign took place Thursday morning. Honorary Tree of Lights Campaign Chairman Jim Mitchell marked the occasion by kicking a football at Paul’s Furniture in St. Robert.

This year’s fundraising goal is 90-thousand dollars, half of which is expected to come from a bell-ringing effort that begins November 27th. Mitchell says individuals and groups can go online to sign up to be bellringers at www.pulaskicountysalvationarmy.com.
