Pulaski County Jail getting ready to open

(Waynesville)–The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department is getting ready for the opening of the new county jail facility next month in Waynesville.
Sheriff Jimmy Bench says the new county jail will offer much more space to house many more inmates than at present and will even house a courtroom for legal proceedings with no need to move inmates to have their day in court.

Sheriff Bench anticipates the new jail, which will have its own kitchen and food service personnel, will be open by mid-October.
