Pulaski County is ready for the August 4th primary
(Waynesville)–This coming Tuesday will be primary election day in Missouri. In addition to selecting candidates to represent each party in the general election in November, voters will decide the fate of Amendment Two that would expand Medicaid coverage in the state.
Pulaski County Clerk David Ernst says Covid-19 again is a concern for the election process and tells of some of the preparations his office have made to make it safer for the voting public and for poll workers on August 4th.
Ernst says he expects a bigger turnout for the primary election than the percentage of registered voters who turned out for the municipal and school elections on June 2nd.
