Pulaski County Health Department says it’s been a mild flu season so far

(Crocker)–So far, it has been a relatively mild flu season in Pulaski County, but that can change in the weeks ahead. Patty McClendon of the Pulaski County Health Department, recommends everyone should get a flu shot, especially the very young, the elderly, and people with chronic health conditions.

It takes about two weeks for the vaccine to become effective.
