Pulaski County Health Department Director, Debra Teal-Baker, says the Missouri Covid dashboard doesn’t count everyone

Tired of fielding inquiries about Pulaski County’s supposed low Covid vaccination rate, the county’s health department issued a statement on Tuesday to set the record straight.

She says the C-D-C’s dashboard includes military personnel, spouses, dependents, Department of Defense civilians, and veterans who have received their Covid vaccinations from hospital personnel at Fort Leonard Wood. According to the C-D-C, 34.4 percent of Pulaski County’s population has received at least one dose of the Covid vaccine.
