The Pulaski County Health Department says their contact tracing efforts have slowly been reduced over time as personnel has focused more on providing vaccines. Effective immediately, the Health Center will no longer be contacting positive individuals as reports come in via its database. It will still be working with the local school districts to identify and consult with positive students and families and therefore, families with a positive student may still be contacted by staff members. If you test positive and need guidance, consultation, or a letter for work or school, please don’t hesitate to contact the Health Department in Crocker. Health Department personnel have found that they often can assist individuals that call them in a timelier manner than waiting on test result reports to come through.
