The Pulaski County Health Center posted a notice this week, essentially saying that it is running out of the Covid-19 vaccine to administer. The posting said, “We are booked out through next week with no guarantee of another shipment of vaccine to get us past this week. Therefore, we are not making any more appointments at this time. We do not accept walk-ins for vaccines and they are not done in our offices, so please do not just show up. We know several are anxious to get in, but we only have so many vaccines. We will be ordering more, but aren’t given an arrival date or promise of receipt. Please stay posted as we will notify the public when the vaccine is available for the Phase 1-B population.” The Phase 1-B population includes people who are 65 and over and individuals with multiple chronic health conditions, heart disease, Down’s Syndrome, and several other conditions.
