Pulaski County Fireworks

Independence Day is just around the corner, meaning citizens of the area should take note of their respective city’s fireworks codes. In Waynesville, residents may only discharge fireworks on July 3rd, July 4th, and July 5th, and only between the hours of 8 AM and 10 PM. They may only be discharged on privately owned property with the consent of the owner and occupant of the property, in Laughlin Park, or in Waynesville City Park in the area not occupied by the Water Spray Pad, playground, or other park facilities and structures. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 or older who is present and actively supervising the child. In St. Robert, residents may discharge fireworks from June 19 to July 5th between the hours of 8 AM to 11 PM. The selling period began June 20th and runs through July 10th. A citizen may sell fireworks within St. Robert city limits provided that they have received a license from the City Clerk to do so. In Dixon, the city allows personal fireworks to be discharged inside city limits from June 30th to July 4th, from 8 AM to 11 PM each day. In Richland, fireworks can be fired off starting at 9 AM on July 3rd and continuing through July 5th. On the 3rd and 5th, fireworks may not be discharged after 9 PM, with the hours extended to 11 PM on the 4th. Fireworks may not be discharged at any time on Fort Leonard Wood. Cities, including Waynesville and St. Robert, reserve the right to suspend the discharging of fireworks in potentially dangerous conditions, such as high winds or drought conditions. The City of Crocker has canceled its usual fireworks hours. Because of the drought and dried vegetation, it will be illegal to shoot off fireworks within the city limits during the Fourth of July holiday period.
