(St. Robert)–The annual Pulaski County Regional Fair is scheduled to begin this afternoon in St. Robert Community Park. This year’s fair activities have been greatly downsized due to concerns about the coronavirus, limited mostly to F-F-A and 4-H livestock shows. From 2 to 4 this afternoon, the check-in of lambs, goats, and hogs will be taking place. The lamb and goal show will take place at 5 o’clock with the hog show scheduled to take place afterward. There is free general admission to the livestock shows. There will be NO Carnival at the Fair this year, due to The Coronavirus. The fair schedule for Saturday includes an 8 to 10 a-m check-in for steers and heifers. Poultry and rabbit check-in will take place from 9:30 to 11 o’clock. The steer and heifer show will begin at 11 a-m, with bottle calves to follow. The poultry and rabbit show will follow this.
The fair’s first annual Bean Bag Tournament will be held at 6 p-m with registration to begin at 5 p-m.
