Pulaski County Driver killed in car accident

(Jerome)–A Pulaski County motorist was killed Friday morning in a head-on collision at 4:40 on D-highway, five miles west of Jerome. The highway patrol has identified the deceased motorist as 40-year-old Charity L. Baker of Dixon. According to the patrol, the accident occurred when the 2013 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Baker crossed the center of the roadway and struck a 2019 Ford F-150, driven by 34-year-old Jamie L. Alexander of Dixon. Alexander received moderate injuries and was transported by Phelps Health Ambulance to Phelps Health in Rolla. Baker was flown by Phelps Air to University Hospital in Columbia, where she was pronounced dead.
