Pulaski County Crash and Arrest

Two Pulaski County residents were seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash on Friday evening. According to crash reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 39-year-old, Kenneth A. Baker, was driving northbound on Highway W near Repeat Drive when his vehicle ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, returned to the roadway, and overturned. Baker was not wearing a seat belt, and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment. A passenger in the vehicle, a 15-year-old male juvenile was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Mercy in Springfield by family members. Baker has been charged with felony driving while intoxicated, failing to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash, and not wearing a seat belt. Baker was released to the hospital for treatment.
