(Jefferson City)–According to the official Missouri Covid-19 website, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases continues to climb sharply in Pulaski County. The state is reporting 172 confirmed cases, as of Monday afternoon. That is an increase of 17 cases in the county since last Monday, which represents a 45 case increase over a four week period. Despite this, Pulaski County has only had one person in the county to die from Covid-19. And, despite a sharp increase recently in cases in St. Louis County and in other hot spots across the state, there were only 4 deaths attributed to the virus within a 24-hour period ending Monday afternoon.
