Public Covid testing this Saturday in Waynesville

(Crocker)–Phelps Health and the Pulaski County Health Center will be offering free drive-through testing for Covid-19, including nasal swab and antibody testing, tomorrow from 8 a-m to 4 p-m at the Phelps Health Waynesville Medical Plaza, 1000 G-W Lane Street, in Waynesville. During the event, people can be tested to see if they currently have Covid-19. Additionally, serology antibody testing will be available for individuals ages 12 and over. This requires taking a blood sample from a person and identifying possible past infection with the Covid-19 virus. Having symptoms of Covid-19 is not required for people interested in being tested. Individuals may choose to have one test or both tests performed at this event. People will not be charged for the testing and Phelps Health will be responsible for notifying individuals on their test results.
