Twenty-one offenders were given prison sentences after recent Circuit Court proceedings in Waynesville.
Bennie Thompson of Summersville was sentenced by Judge Bill Hickle to serve 3 years in prison after Thompson entered a guilty plea to resisting arrest.
Susan Whittle of Lebanon entered a guilty plea to delivering a controlled substance. Judge John Beger sentenced Whittle to 8 years in the Department of Corrections.
And Ashley Jacobs of Rolla entered a guilty plea to stealing. Judge Hickle sentenced Jacobs to serve 7 years in the Department of Corrections. Christopher Harris of Dixon was sentenced by Judge Bill Hickle to serve ten years in the Department of Corrections after Harris entered a guilty plea to the delivery of a controlled substance. Kyle Walch of Crocker violated the terms and conditions of his probation for resisting arrest. Judge Hickle sentenced Walch to three years in the Department of Corrections. And Anthony Russell of Dixon violated his probation for possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced by Judge Hickle to a 7-year prison term.
