Presiding Commission on Interim Public Administrator

19 days into service as the Laclede County Public Administrator, Zane McCaslin has resigned. McCaslin submitted his letter of resignation to the Laclede County Commission on Tuesday afternoon, stating that he is resigning for health reasons. In order to avoid leaving the seat unattended, and continuing service to the clients that the Public Administrator’s Office serves, the Laclede County Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst tells us they appointed Annette Charles, a former employee with the Public Administrator’s Office to serve in the position.

Charles will serve as interim Public Administrator for Laclede County until the Governor makes the final appointment, to serve out the unexpired term.
