(Fort Leonard Wood)–July screenings for pre-school children ages 3 and 4 who live in the Waynesville School District are now being scheduled at Williams Early Childhood Center on Fort Leonard Wood. To schedule a screening appointment for July 27th, 28th, or 29th, call 573-842-2650.
If at all possible, one parent is asked to attend with the child or children who are being screened and to not bring siblings, due to the COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing guidelines. Williams Early Childhood Center’s pre-school program consists of the Parent and Child Education program and the Early Childhood Special Education Program. The Parent and Child Education Program are for children ages 3, 4, and 5 who are potty-trained, have gone through the screening process, and have been admitted to the program. The program is free. However, transportation is not provided. The Early Childhood Special Education Program services children ages 3, 4, and 5 with educationally disabling conditions.
