Power pole inspectors are on the move

Residents in the service area of Laclede Electric Cooperative may notice people walking or parked on or near their property over the next several weeks. Lee Inspection and Consulting Service has been hired by Laclede Electric to inspect power poles. Byron Dudley with Laclede Electric tells us they are looking for failing poles…

Dudley said there are around 47-hundred miles of line in the 6 county area they serve. The contractor crews will be in vehicles that are clearly identified with the Laclede Electric Cooperative name and logo, and each inspector will carry a Laclede Electric photo I.D.
