Power outage affects 700 Laclede Electric Customers

Around 700 Laclede Electric Cooperative customers in Laclede County were without power after a power pole caught fire Tuesday afternoon. According to Laclede Electric, the substation near the power pole went off and had to remain off until the cross arms on the pole were repaired. Lineman will have to go back and replace the pole sometime in the next couple of days. Regional Radio KJEL operated on a generator during the outage. Power was restored at approximately 4:45 pm. until the power is restored.
