Power has been restored to all of Waynesville

Power has returned to the entirety of Waynesville after heavy storm damage earlier this week. At its peak, it is estimated that just over 8,000 members of the Laclede Electric Cooperative were left without power. Over the next few days, that number would slowly decrease, with the city of Waynesville making a post-Thursday afternoon to announce that power has completely returned to its coverage area. Due to storm damage, a few key dates have been switched around. The city announced that utility shut-off has been postponed due to April 11th, to avoid confusion if additional outages happen to occur. In addition, Spring Cleanup dates have been postponed to May 9th and 10th.
