Individuals who attended the Belle Fair last weekend were advised on Wednesday that a person who attended the Belle Dance Team event Saturday night from 7:30 to 9:30 was Covid-19 symptomatic and not wearing any face covering. The Phelps-Maries Counties Health Department advises individuals who were at that event should be alert for development of symptoms of COVID-19, practice social distancing, and wear a mask while in public for 14 days from date of potential exposure. If you develop symptoms of COVID-19, isolate yourself from others immediately and alert your healthcare provider.
Individuals with COVID-19 have reported a wide range of symptoms – ranging from mild symptoms to severe illness. It is important to acknowledge that some individuals experience no symptoms at all during their course of illness but may still be spreading the virus. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus.
