Laclede County charges have been filed against a Poplar Bluff man accused of drug trafficking. 32-year-old Stephen Tyler Perry was driving a car that was pulled over by Laclede County Deputies on December 9th. According to the report, a Deputy was following the vehicle, starting in the area of Beck Lane and East 32. The vehicle crossed the center line and ran into the ditch came back across the road and into the ditch again. The driver continued driving on West Highway 32 and was throwing items out the window, along the way. Once Perry stopped and was taken into custody, he was searched and found in possession of over $2-thousand-dollars in cash. Methamphetamine, glass pipes, during a search of the vehicle. Additional items were located including syringes, a small weight scale, and a clear ziplock bag that contained methamphetamine. In total, more than a quarter-pound of methamphetamine was seized during the investigation. Perry’s bond was set at $75-thousand-dollars surety.
