Lebanon City Council considered capital purchases during the Monday night meeting. Code Administrator Joe Berkich presented a plan for improvements to the Mills Center and recommended a company to perform the work.

The low bidder on the project and staff recommendation were Construction Concepts, at a cost of $89-thousand-487-dollars. Once the work begins the project should be complete within 45 days. In other business, Council approved FTS to conduct Energy Audit Services for the city rebate program. The cost per energy audit will be $300. City Council approved the purchase of tools for the Electric Department’s new bucket truck. The city received 9 bids, with Altec Supply being the approved bid at a cost of $14-thousand-161-dollars. They also approved a task order from Carrol Seating Company for bleachers at the civic center at a cost of $5425.

The discovery of a mistake made in the financing package for fleet vehicles for the Lebanon Police Department required Lebanon City Council to consider an addendum to the lease-purchase agreement with U.S. Bank. Finance Director Kat Gil explained

The lease-purchase is for 6 new Dodge Durango pursuit vehicles, with the financing in place for 36 months. Due to the change, the interest rate on the lease-purchase increased from 1.72 tp 2.177 percent.
