Plan Things Out and Arrive Alive this Holiday Season

Christmas parties have already started and will keep going on until the New Year. If you attend a Christmas party it’s always a good idea to make a plan to arrive alive. If you drink at that party it’s best to not drive home, and get a ride from someone. Regional Administrator with the U.S. Department Of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Susan Decoursey says that December traditionally is a dangerous time for folks on the road.

Decoursey says there are easy signs to tell if a person has had too much to drink, and should seek help getting home.

You should always take someone’s keys if they have been drinking because this Christmas friends and family should all be together. It would not be a Merry Christmas if folks get pulled over for drunk driving, so it is important to make a plan and stay safe this holiday season.
