Pittsburg man dies in Hickory County crash

A Pittsburg man died in a head-on collision in Hickory County Tuesday morning. According to the Highway Patrol. 85-year-old Janye Cummings-Hubert was driving on Highway 65 a mile north of Preston, when he swerved to miss a vehicle that had entered traffic, crossed the center line, and hit a grain truck head-on. Cummings-Hubert died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the grain truck, 48-year-old Daniel Ebling of Greenridge received minor injuries and was taken to Bothwell Hospital for treatment.
