The 74th annual Phelps County Fair will open to the public this afternoon at 4 o’ clock on Highway 63 South in Rolla. Throughout the 3-day run of the Fair, there will be livestock displays, pageants, music, kids games, carnival rides, a demolition derby, truck and tractor pull, and much more.
This evening is Military Night with admission for the entire family costing just $25 with a valid military ID.
Admission otherwise is $10 for a daily ticket for Age 11 and over, and $8 for children ages 6-through-10 and for seniors age 65 and over. Children under five are admitted free.
Admission on Friday will be $15 for a daily ticket for age 11 and over, and on Saturday, it will be $20.
A season pass for all three days of the fair can be purchased for $25, if purchased before noon today, or $30, if purchased at the fair gate.
This year’s fair theme is “Lettuce Turnip the Beet!”
