Phelps County Deputy Faces Child Porn Charges

A Phelps County deputy suspected of involvement in child pornography has been apprehended by his fellow deputies.
40-year-old Deputy Justin B. Durham, from Rolla, is now facing charges related to child pornography. According to investigators, a tip prompted the inquiry that led to Durham’s identification.
Sheriff Michael P. Kirn said members of law enforcement, should adhere to the highest standards of ethics and moral rectitude, and are equally subject to the law.’ Kirn said Durham’s employment was terminated following his felony charge of criminal misconduct.
