CARES ACT funding that was handed down by the Federal Government to help during the COVID-19 pandemic is rolling along in Laclede County. Presiding County Commissioner, Randy Angst says, Phase One is almost complete with approving applications submitted by business for financial relief:

Angst says the money they went to in Phase One will eventually go back to the community through that business. He says Phase Two application is due on Monday, August 31st for nonprofit agencies:

Again all nonprofit applications for the CARES ACT funding needs to be in by 4:pm Monday, August 31st to be eligible for the funds.
