People who wish to run for city office or school board in next April elections have through next Tuesday to file as candidates.

As of midday Monday, four candidates had filed for the Waynesville Board of Education.  They are the two board incumbents–Aaron Pondrom and Charles Quinn. Also running are David Griffin and Melissa James.

In Dixon, two incumbents have filed for election–Zach K. Shepherd and Douglas W. Roam.

Two candidates have filed at this point for the Laquey Board of Education. They are Michael Sadler, who is an incumbent, and David Jones. The other incumbent, Josh Woody, so far has not filed for re-election.

In Richland, only one candidate has filed–Bruce Goodrich–for a one-year unexpired term. No one has filed so far for the two board of education seats up for election, which is currently held by incumbents Shad Hilton and Amber Johnson.

There are three candidates who have filed for the board of education in Crocker–Jeffery Danielson, an incumbent, and Andrea Brandstetter and Sherry Campisi.
