Semi driver from Roach hits pedestrian after pedestrian walks in the middle of the road

A man from Cuba was seriously injured during an accident on Highway 61 early this morning(Tues). According to the Highway Patrol, 34-year-old Joshua House was walking in the middle of the road, when he was hit by a semi driven by 53-year-old Michael Wirths of Roach. House was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in St Louis for treatment after the 2:23 am accident in Pike County.
