Patriot’s Day Event Planned Next Month in Pulaski County

One month from today will be the 20th anniversary of the traumatic Twin Towers and Pentagon terrorist attack in New York and Washington, D. C. Locally, the Armed Services Y-M-C-A of Missouri is planning a day of remembrance, patriotism, music, and fellowship to observe Patriot’s Day.

There will be a music festival from 5 to 9:30 featuring the Scooter Brown Band, Chuck Briseno, and Hunter Hathcoat.
A fireworks display will take place at dark.
Early bird event tickets are $20 online for ages 16 and up. Tickets not purchased by September 8th can be purchased at the festival for $25. Tickets for children, ages 6 through 15, are $10 each.
To purchase tickets, go online to fortleonardwood.asymca.org. This event is 100 percent not for profit. All proceeds will be donated back to the community.
The Remembering 9/11 Patriots Day Festival will be held on Saturday, September 11th, from 7:45 in the morning to ten o’ clock in the event at the Pulaski County-Fort Wood Shrine Club in Buckhorn.
