Governor Mike Parson’s state budget proposal includes a request to boost minimum teacher pay to 40-thousand dollars annually. During his final State of the State address WEDNESDAY, Parson said he wants a four-million dollar increase to make this proposal a reality…
The governor’s budget proposal also includes 52 million dollars to boost childcare subsidy rates, 93-million to improve low-volume rural roads, and a 3.2 percent pay hike for the more than 47-thousand state workers.
