Ozarks Amphitheater Damaged by Fire

Mid County Fire reports that engines responded to the Ozarks Amphitheater on Highway 5 just after 10 pm Thursday for a fire. When Fire crews arrived they found the main concession and office building on fire and the flames were shooting through the roof of the building. The roof had already collapsed when the fire crews arrived so the initial attack was done from outside the building. In addition to office space and concessions, the building had living quarters on the second floor, but the building was unoccupied at the time of the fire. In addition to Mid County Fire, additional agencies responded to the blaze including Osage Beach, Sunrise Beach, Lake Ozark and Southwest Fire Protection District. Lebanon City Fire Department responded to Camdenton to cover any additional calls. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
