Over 70 cases of COVID have been identified in Laclede County residents over the last 3 days. Regional Radio’s, Bruce Wayne, has the details on those new cases…………

Laclede County ranks 29th out of 117 Missouri COVID jurisdictions. 2,174 people have died since the pandemic began.

Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says the number of reported cases is high, but the actual number of cases is considerably higher than what is being reported……….

Over the last 3 days, 30 cases of COVID have been identified in residents or staff members in a long-term care facility. These facilities aren’t letting family members in at this time, so cases are being brought into those locations by staff members. Baker says those who work in these facilities need to realize they have a responsibility in their personal lives to those they care for on the job……….
