Osage Beach Fire Protection District Wants Changes In Open Flame Cooking

On Tuesday, the Osage Beach Fire Protection District Board of Directors approved a measure to adopt into ordinance the fire code that bans all open-flame cooking
devices on decks of multi-family residences following a 90-day public comment period. The board has scheduled three public meetings to listen to public comments and inform management companies and operators of multi-family occupancies, by mail, of the upcoming change and the 90-day public comment period. The public may comment by email at [email protected] and in person on each first Wednesday of May, June and July at 1170 Bluff Drive at 4:00 p.m.
