Osage Beach Board of Directors Approve Ordinance
The Osage Beach Fire Protection District approved an ordinance at their last Board of Directors meeting. The board held a 90 day comment period in which the public could comment on not having open flame cooking devices on decks of multi family residences. The board voted to approve of this ordinance. Osage Beach Fire Chief Paul Berardi tells Regional Radio the board approved it to reduce fires.
Chief Berardi says that there are some exceptions to the ordinance.
Berardi says that charcoal grills are also not allowed.
Approving this ordinance will hopefully reduce fires and keep families safe.
