Operation Christmas Child

A group of about 30 young people in Laclede County have joined to support Operation Christmas Child. Joselyn Lewis, was a guest on Chamber Talk this week and said they are in the process of collecting items to prepare shoeboxes to go to children around the world…

Lewis said Operation Christmas Child will provide shoeboxes for around 160-million children. The organization Samaritans Purse was founded in 1970, and since 1993 Operation Christmas Child has been sending gifts to children.
