One Man Dead Another In Jail Following Pulaski County Shooting

A man is dead, and another man was arrested after a shooting Wednesday afternoon outside the St. Robert city limits.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department says it received a call to respond to the 16000 block of Hobo Lane to investigate a report of a gunshot victim. Initial reports stated the male victim had been shot in the chest, and the suspect had fled the area.

When authorities arrived, they located the victim, who was taken to the hospital and later died. The sheriff’s office says the victim’s name will be released later.

The suspect was located and taken into custody without incident. His identity will also be released at a later time.

Through investigation, Pulaski County Detectives determined this was a targeted incident and have no reason to believe the public is in immediate danger.
The investigation is ongoing.
