One lane open on U.S. 54
The Osage Beach Department of Public Safety is reporting that one lane of Highway 54 is open. One lane and the Case Road exit are still closed as MODOT continues to clean up a rock slide, that closed down the highway on Sunday.
Police say the rock slide caused a couple of accidents. 34 year old year old Victor Bautiasta of Osage Beach was injured when a large rock fell on his car. A vehicle driven by 84 year old Fred Hanssen Junior of Osage Beach was damaged when he hit a large rock that was in the road. Hanssen was not injured in the accident
Officers are still working to identify other vehicles that may have been damaged during the rock slide.
