One juvenile was killed, two others seriously injured in a one-vehicle traffic accident Thursday evening around 6 o’ clock on Phelps County Road 5010 at Little Oaks Road.
Dead is a 16-year-old female victim from Rolla. Seriously injured were the 16-year-old female driver of the 2014 Toyota Rav 4 involved in the accident and a 15-year-old female passenger. They were taken to Phelps Health in Rolla for treatment of their injuries. The highway patrol says the accident occurred when the Rav 4 traveled off the roadway, struck a ditch, and went airborne, striking a speed limit sign and a utility pole, and overturning.
